I hope you all know of the game called team fortress 2, if not you live under a rock. Good news: about a month ago it became free that's when I started playing again after about 2 years I guess. Games cool and you should all play it. I'll give all of you a basic image about what TF2 is about.
As you guessed from the title, the game is divided in two teams (red and blue). Depending on the gamemode you sabotage them, or push a cart or capture a control point or whateverthefoockyouwant. Basically what you need to learn to be good at TF2 is the classes, there's 9, divided in 3 sub groups. Offensive, defensive and support.
- Scout
- Soldier
- Pyro
- Demoman
- Engineer
- Heavy
- Medic
- Sniper
- Spy
Each of these classes have their own perks and weaknesses, for example a scout moves very fast but has minimal HP. Each class has a specific role in the battle. For the sake of illustrating: a pyro will try to keep the enemy away from the objective by pushing into their spawn and killing as much people as possible while the defensive classes stay back and make sure the other team can't get through when the pyro gets killed.In the mean time a scout is capturing the objective (because he has 2x capture rate) with a soldier. In the back a sniper gets headshot after headshot. This, ofcourse is probably the easiest situation I gave, in reality you will have to adjust your playstyle according to your teammates.
This game is already pretty old and it runs fine on most machines (I get 200 fps solid on my laptop) so you should all get 60 FPS if you're not using a cardboard computer.
The main reason why I love this game is because it's so fast paced and ever changing. Every month there's probably 2 updates which have new weapons usually, they add whole new dynamics and strategies to the game while they all stay pretty balanced. Classes that are popular for new players are the offensive ones, because they are easy to do decent with (but beware, they are alot harder than the other ones to be a good team player!).

I'm gonna go ahead and put a time limit on this, everybody make sure you've got this thing installed by Saturday so we can have a go at a team match.
I'm away all day on saturday and I've gotta work sunday aswell , sorry :p
Doesn't have to be on Saturday, it just needs to be installed by then 'cause if I don't put a time limit on this most of these guys will just keep postponing it.
